WASH LESS

Do not over wash as unnecessary washing shortens the life of your garments. When needed, consider refreshing simply by airing, spot cleaning or using a gentle clothing refresher spray to extend your washing cycles.

MACHINE WASH WARM

Machine using warm water between 20 to 30°C. Avoid using enzyme based or harsh detergents that contain bleach.

DO NOT DRY CLEAN

Dry cleaning is a chemical-heavy process that is hard on your garments and the environment. So skip the visit to the drycleaners – a gentle handwash or spot clean would do the trick from the comfort of your own home.

HANG & ADMIRE ♥

Hang your FLAIR® wear away from other prickly or rough garments, or store flat with the fewest folds possible to minimise creasing.

LOVE YOUR CLOTHES

the secret of washing less

Did you know? If we all simply skipped one in six washing loads, wash half our clothes at >30°C and substituted a sixth of our dryer usage with open-air drying, we could collectively deliver over 180 million tonnes of carbon emission reductions. The secret: wash less. ♥

In the wise words of Stella McCartney – “The rule is you do not clean it. You let the dirt dry and you brush it off. If you don’t absolutely have to clean anything, don’t clean it. I wouldn’t change my bra every day and I don’t just chuck stuff into a washing machine because it’s been worn. I am incredibly hygienic myself, but I’m not a fan of dry cleaning or any cleaning, really.
